Comments:
Just picked this machine up at a soon to be bull dozed lumberyard in east dundee illinois. The lumberyard was established in the mid 1800s. Machine runs on a "Century" induction repulsion motor pat. dated 1914. The fitting of the motor is correct which makes me believe the manufacture of the machine is 1920s or earlier. The machine has "patent pending" cast into the saw arm. Also a large Miller-Knuth badge shields the under mounted motor. Very nice machine with a small foot print. Quiet and strong. (Will complete full restoration on this machine this summer) bumped to the front of the line. Covered with oil, cleaned up well, without any rust.
