Comments:
Bought from a print shop owner who was joining another printer in a combined shop and selling off redundant machines. The motor blew as soon as I got it home - it was full of oil. I had another motor on hand and got it going pretty quick. The machine is very robust and accurate. I use it for cutting small wood and non-ferrous metal parts. It is very accurate and the crosscut gauge has a clamp that allows the ripping of 3/32" wide strips of stock up to about 6" long. Thus it is very useful for cutting bone bridges for guitars and little parts that would otherwise be really tricky to cut safely. It can be used to thickness and groove small pieces of aluminum, brass and corian. I have a small horizontal mill for real precision but the saw can do a lot of little tricks and quickly too.

Comments: The arbor dead-ends and the blade is attached with 3 screws. a 4x stock can be squared with it, but not crosscut.
