I found this machine on Craigslist in January 2013. It belonged to 1 man machine shop in Rockaway NJ.
The man and his father purchased this machine from a dealer in 1970. They added an hour meter when it was
installed. It reads 7000+ hours. That's 7k hours in 43 years, or about 1/2 hour per week.
The original owner is unknown.
This machine has one 5hp motor. Later versions have two motors. I have power limitations in my shop,
so the smaller motor fits nicely. Note it also has a complete powered rotary table that works.
This machine came in two flavors, medium speed and hi speed. Mine is a medium speed. Top speed 450rpm.
