I bought this bandsaw back in Sep. 2007 from a fellow member here.We made the deal and off I went to my all day trip from Southern NJ to Babylon LI and back in my Ranger PU,'yea' the saw resides back in jersey were she was manufactured sometime in the late 1800's.My casting reads New Orange,NJ.
The saw was totaly stripped down,all parts sandblasted,parts polished and others painted black.I had to have a new upper shaft turned by a local machinist friend.Both top and bottom bearings were fine.The saw is a beast,everyone that comes into my garage is in ah of it.With all the machines I own,this is my baby, my favorite piece of arn
