My father-in-law gave me this saw recently because he needed to clear room in his shop. He obtained it in a garage sale several years ago for $10 and used it until he obtained an older 10" Craftsman (Something about liking 240 volt machines). I repainted the stand since someone has turned it brown from spraying some type of stain or varnish near it, and I repaired the original Rockwell motor. I haven't done anyhing with the table section except replace the switch. It runs great and, yes, that is sawdust inside. I couldn't wait to try it out. It has serial number BT6766, which puts it made in 1957 at the Tupelo plant, according to the OWWM web-site.
