I bought this for $25. The person who sold it to me had purchased an abandoned storage unit and this was in there. He said there were no other pieces, so I will probably never have the tool rest. I am hoping that because similar lathes were built for Craftsman that there may be a spare someplace or that making a tool rest and holder from some kind of existing parts would not be too difficult. Apparently I just need to match the dimensions of the clamp for the tail stock. The main reason I purchased this, having no actual need for a non-working small lathe, was because I loved the name Wood Wizard and seeing it in cast iron, even on a dinky old lathe, was pretty irresistible. I think it would look great repainted and shined up, but for now, it is in need of a cleaning. It is also missing the little bolt to tighten the center on the tailstock, but that looks like it could be made from a bent piece of metal that is threaded to fit the little hole on top. If anybody has any suggestions for the restoration, please let me know. The lathe is described as having a 9" swing and 30" between centers on page 13 of the 1935 catalog. Thanks.
