I acquired this machine in the fall of 2012. This machine used to belong to the seller's late husband, who sounded like a very swell fella. He used it in his personal wood shop for the better part of 15 years. When I went to pick up the machine, she also had a 24" Egan planer. Unfortunately, it was already spoken for or I would have brought it home too!
When I got the machine, it was in good condition. All I had to do was tune it up, give it a thorough cleaning, and belt a motor to it. The babbit bearings are in great shape, and everything operates smoothly. The machine also features a 2 knife gibbed cutterhead and a Surty guard. The machine weighs approximately 3,200 lbs. The infeed table is 30" wide, and the outfeed is 25" wide. The fence is not original, I suspect it is off of a table saw, but functions very well.
The story of the acquisition as well as a video of it running can be seen at these links:

This is when I found out how the PO dealt with all the shavings the machine produces. It is a tray bolted to the underside of the machine.
