I came upon this table saw by a craigslist ad. Guy owned a sign shop and wanted to offload this saw because it was not easy to transport. Can't blame him, either! This thing weighs well over 100lbs without a stand! My buddy, who is a vintage machine-oholic, said that i should jump on this immediately because the guy only wanted $40. I took his word for it and picked it up. I dont know if the seller was just pulling my chain, but he said a bunch of people called and thier first question was "why are you selling this for so cheap? what's wrong with it" although he said nothing, i later found out that the blade rpm was very far off. buying new pulley's solved that problem. Also, the extension wings are a no show. The handle on the fence is also a no show, but other than those issues, the saw is a beaut! it's quiet and smooooth. I love using this and really want to put some effort into whipping it into shape so that i can build a new kitchen. That means extensions and figuring out how to extend the fence bar. Any help with those issues is much appreciated!
