Picked up this gem in Marlin TX for $40. The former owner was the mayor there at one time and the father of a friend of mine through work. Have it's twin and a 6" jointer, but more on that later. The motor is unknown, no badge and maybe only a patent # on the case that puts it in the 1938 time frame if it is a patent number, but not able to find any other info, and the number isn't all readable so still trying some different combinations.

Went and put it on my cheap Craftsman 10" table saw base and reworked it. With the tilting table and the blade staying the same, only changing the level I devised a hinged seat with a spring to hold up the 60+ pound motor. A new coat of hammered Krylon grey and silver paint and I am ready now for

it to probably outlive me (51 this month). I am turning segmented turnings and think this will give me the accuracy I need.

Anyone have any ideas on the motor or HP I would appreciate it. The motor looks cool, but I fear may be undersized. For those submitting photos please put more up of how you mount it for future guys/gals to get ideas for.
