Bought this Homecraft (Delta/Milwaukee)10" swing wood lathe locally in Austin, TX off the Nephew of the origianl owner who's Uncle bought this lathe brand new around 1950 in New Jersey.
From what I can find this site this lathe only shows up in the 1949 and 1950 Homecraft catalogs and appears to be not very common of a lathe like the other Homecraft 11" swing lathe offered by Delta. The Delta-Homecraft line also had in their line-up a 11" swing lathe which was made for many more years and is much more common out there to find.
There is not one other Homecraft Model 46-110 Wood Lathe posted here on Vintage Machines.org ad there are over 20,000 members on this website.
This lathe is in really incredible original conditon and has seen very little use per the Nephew who sold it to me. I also got the original 3" face plate, the Delta cast iron tail stock/tool rest curved handle wrench, front drive spur and a ball bearing "live" tail stock center. It also came with a new Fenner link belt but the motor was off an old washing machine on a home made 2x4 stand I left behind.
I plan to restore this lathe and mount it to a proper stand and find suitable motor to run it. I will post some more picture as the restoration progresses along.
