Described in the Craftsman catalog as a combination wood/metal lathe.
Acquired from Clist in Philadelphia with a compound tool rest, Jacobs chuck and some tooling but no motor or stand. No known history, but a PO did some very careful modifications to make it more suitable for metal work. These include lever-actuated back gears for the headstock and a sled for the compound rest that allows it to be tightened by a handwheel that travels under the bed.
