Purchased in 2012, from a woodworking shop near Cambridge, Ontario. In its 100 years, this saw may have never have moved more than 50 km from its birth place in Galt (now Cambridge).

The PO inherited it from his father and used it in the shop for 35 year before buying a bigger and more modern saw. Fortunately for me, he was unable to sell it in 2 auctions, likely because it doesn't have a base, or guards.... The huge table is great and it even tilts.

Unfortunately it will be spending the winter in a barn until I have new home for it in spring.
The pictures were taken at the PO's shop - I won't have any until I get it set up again.
Some of the shop-made guards were damaged during removal and will likely replaced.

Interesting, it seems the MacGregor Gourley is related to Cant Bros, which built my lathe in the 1800's. They must have built quite a few machines for the Southern Ontario industry, back in the day.
