Comments:
I saved this metal shaper from the scrap man in 2012. The machine was owned by a co-worker’s father who got it in Ashtabula, Ohio. I believe the machine was originally run by flat belt and pulley but was changed over at some point. This machine was patented on September 9, 1890 (patent number 436,139). The machine weighs about 1400lbs. I am the current owner of this machine, which resides in Mentor, Ohio.
