I found this scroll saw at a garage sale a few weeks ago. From what seller told me it belonged to his grandfather who was a NY jeweler. I hope that wasn't a ounce of gold dust I cleaned off and disgarded. I initally thought it was a basket case but it did have a work light so .... home it came. Very little rust, no belt guard, and a funky 1/4 hp GE motor on its last legs. Once I fired it up it worked fine - surprise surprise. Found a belt guard and picked up a newer Delta-Rockwell motor for it. Gave it a paint job and it's ready to work. The tags are in very good condition considering they are steel instead of aluminum.
