I purchased this yesterday at an estate sale. The only identifying markings are a casting "Mechanics Special" and part numbers. It has two tool rests - Y8 and Y10; table screw - "JO"; table brace - "11".

Edit: After reviewing the Luther catalog I discovered Luther Mfg the "Mechanics Special" line of grinders. There were various "X" models within the Mechanics Special category but this paticular one is not shown. It could be an earlier or a later model. The screw holding the buffing wheel is not shown as an accessory either; I suppose another catalog?
