This grinder was bought very recently from an on-line auction in northern Illinois. Lake Forest High School in the north shore of Chicago was liquidating some of their older machines. I talked to a staff member when I was picking this up and he stated it had been sitting for years but that it was used in the high school automotive and woodworking shop. The grinder runs strong but is missing some of its parts including: two cups, one cup holder bar/rod, a safety glass and a tool rest. I already created one of the parts and plan on casting the missing tool rest in bronze. I will fully restore this machine next summer, mostly needs a paint job.
