picked this power hack saw (craftsman) off of clist a few days ago, the price was right. This is my second craftsman power hack saw I own. The seller said she had it on on for less than 10 minutes when I called, she agreed to hold it for me. The saw works very well, actually great. Most interesting is the base this saw came on. It is from the "Hurley Machine Company Chicago" The Hurley Machine co. of Chicago was the first commercial producer of clothes washing machines. First pic. is as found, I only cleaned her up as it has been very well respected. Again: this machine is a little jewel! The power source is a 1/4 horse power G.E. motor on a yoke mount. This Craftman machine cuts quickly through thicker metals without wearing the blades or making noise. I also like the old electrical switches.
