I got this lathe few days ago from a Craigslist ad. The owner passed way and the 96 years old wife decided to sell it. The daughter told me that her father worked for Bosh Co. in CT lab on this lathe . When he retired, after many years on the job, they gave him it. I'm new on this trade, but did a lots of searching for a old late, and by what I've reading this is the most talk about from old timers plus I couldn't dish out more than I pay for this one and get a more friendly's machine, w/ lots of bells and whistles. It looks in very good condition, all parts original. The only made modification by him is the adding car transmission to it, as seen on pics.I like to know more about it. Was no paperwork on it. So please, feel free to comment and give suggestions after all this is why I'm here. I like to paint it as original color(? )I like to do it before I put it together. I had to dismantle it to take from the cellar and loaded on my truck. Thanks!
