My brother in law picked this up for me in Chicago a few months back and I picked it up yesterday when visiting. The base on it is big and similar to, but not the same, as the production model(3081) such as shown in the 1961 catalog. The base is 18" deep and 12" across. The height is 39" and it is heavy. This is a "big" bench DP. Somewhere in the past it was spray painted blue and though the front tag is in good shape it is partially covered in paint. The Return Spring and cap are missing, it needs a new electrical cord, the original light still works as does both original switches and the motor, which is missing the mfg tag, runs smoothly. The lock handle is missing. I've located another non-Duro return spring that I hope will make this fully functional and I'll be looking for the lock handle as well. This is added to the "DP in waiting" list.
Edit: Corrected badged Mfg information.
Edit: This has been sold.

Not sure if this model had a spindle cap or not. The 1941 cat. shows one but the 1961 does not???

Apparently the PO was a golfer. The knobs on the wheel arms are golf balls. I'm not a golfer so I'll be replacing these.
