Found this little saw at a local flea market for $10 and just had to give it a new home. For a couple of months I just kept moving it around my shop to keep it out of the way of work. I realized after the 3rd or 4th time shifting it out of my way I had better restore it befor it was shifted to storage and forgot about. So.... I wire wheeled, sanded it down, replaced the arbor bushings, primed and painted it (I like green), cut a plexi insert , found 2 small steel pullys and bought a 1/3hp 3.6amp 1725rpm motor which is hung on the rear of the saw using existing threaded holes(couldnt talk myself into drilling new holes.
Great little saw, its first cut (after the insert) was through a piece of maple, with no problem.
