I picked this up at a Seattle School District auction for $100 and when I got it home and apart I found the windings burned out. I left it in the rathole for several years before deciding to bite the bullet and have the three phase motor rewound. A local motor shop rewound it for $300 the summer of 2012 and I installed new bearings and painted all of the exterior parts. The eye shields still had the original laminated glass, which has been replaced with Lexan, and the original lamps in the eye shields have been replaced with LED strip lights.
