Bought the machine from HGR in Cleveland. It has a USAF ID scratched into the paint above the screaming chicken tag that I left in place and painted over. So it spent at least some time in the military.
The machine was in generally good condition when I bought it but the foot pedal shaft had been previously welded and rebroken before it came to me. The break was right at the point where the upper web is cut out to allow the table raising screw to pass by. I fixed it with a combination of welding, brazing, and a mechanically fastened steel splint.
The motor tag says it is single voltage 220V but there are nine leads coming out of the motor. I think the motor has been rewound as the insulation looked too new to be from 1947. I put new bearings in and it runs quite nicely. Not as much horsepower as the later model 92-D I previously had but adequate for most tasks.
