This saw has seen daily use in a Packaging business untill it was retired in 2003. It was used since the 40's. The manufacturer is unknown. In my research on the OWWM site I only find 2 manufacturers listed who made Wood frame/top saws. Those were American Sawmill and the Fay and Egan Co. but what description I find does not totally match the saw. Any help in identifying the manufacturer would be appreciated. The plywood sides ar not original. The motor is an old GE 3ph 4HP and was most likely NOT original as the mounting system is crude at best. The saw may have been designed for a line shaft power source. I am planning on selling the saw. If nothing else the two tone (Cherry & Maple)top would make an interesting table.
Have since discovered it is a Beach No.1 thanks to a OWWM member
