I bought the saw from South Davis Cabinet and Millworks in North Bountiful Utah in 2012 after the shop had been closed due to the death of the owner several years earlier. I found that the saw had been in use daily for the operation of the shop and had been purchased from a sawmill in the Utah mountains nearby. I have submitted an inquiry to the family for further information on the saw's history. At some point in its past the saw was retro-fitted with a 10hp Lincoln Electric motor for operation as well as safety guards and a dust collection hood.
