Recently acquired the saw from a local friend who used the saw in his home shop. He had it for 20 years and is not sure where it originally was purchased. The really unique item that I got with the saw is the DEWALT POWER TOOL box with the following accessories:
1. 8" sanding disk
2. Shaper/moulding guard
3. Jacobs chuck
4. Small sanding drum
5. Saber saw
The saw motor is 10 amp and will run on 120 or 240 volt. I have completed a "partial" restoration using Hammer Rite mid-green paint, which is not the original speckle green. I did not restore the drop-down table leaf either.
The 3/4 HP motor is, in my opinion, underpowered for a 10" blade so I have been using an 8" blade with the saw wired for 230v. The saw motor has a centrifugal brake and cuts strong and accurate. The "after" photos below are with the saw in my basement before I started using it in my shop.
The rip scale is damaged and I need a replacement. Please e-mail me if you have one that you are willing to sell.
