This is my second old wood working machine restoration. This is a Delta No. 37 - 307 jointer with C-arn stand. I bought this from that salvage yard you may have seen on TV. Allen Steel is in Redwood City, CA. It’s the salvage yard where the Myth Busters shop for their Arn. I picked it up for about $175 IIRC.

Shortly after I brought it home, I cleaned it up and had the tables and fence Blanchard ground. I adjusted the table into line and locked the gibbs to have the table ground as one. I also painted the base. Then we moved – long story – but I finally finished.

Now it features:

- All castings sand blasted.
- Sprayed two coats Rustolium, Hammered Gray. (cheap spray gun)
- New motor bearings.
- New cutter head bearings.
- Blanchard ground table and fence.
- Hand scraped table and fence flat to 1/1000. (the limit of my measuring thingies)
- Rosewood safety guard knob.
