Original entry: I bought this several years ago for $20 from my friend Mike, who owns the world's greatest "reclamation"/"garbology" yard. I liked it because I had never seen a machine quite like it. After perusing the photo index on this web site, I like it even more because I can't find any others. I am soliciting guidance and good tips from readers as to its manufacturer and vintage. There are no identifying labels or badges, though there are cast numbers on several parts.
The machine appears to be designed to be powered by a bench-mounted motor via two idler pulleys, which are missing. The motor which is on it at present is a jerry-rig that causes the DP to fall over backwards.
The whole thing is pretty well rusted up, and the moving parts do not move, but I'll keep working on that. The overall height is 26".
Later: consensus from OWWM forum-goers is that the machine is probably a local-foundry creation. I think there must me a head somewhere, or at least there used to be one.
01-08-2017: finished restoration except for motor and idler pulleys.

Comments: More or less finished. Needs a motor and the idler sheaves at the back of the head.

Comments: It looks like there should be a pair of idler pulleys at the back of the top.
