This drill press was acquired from a young man who got it from his grandfather. Mechanically, the drill press was in very good condition. The trim bands around the head and the motor were missing or destroyed, and were replaced with new hand-made pieces. The column was polished on an adapted lathe. The Vari-Slo attachment was acquired on a different drill press, refurbished, and fitted to this machine. The hold-down attachment was a separate acquisition as well. Although this drill press was originally dark gray, it was refinished in a hammertone gold.
