When I purchased a Wheatly jointer, the owner had this 768 band saw for sale with an old wood stand and no motor. It looked like too much work to restore and I wanted a 14 inch, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. I went back a month latter and bought it. After restoring the saw, new bearings, tires, and paint I was able to adapt a newer stand to look like the original welded one.I also used a 1/2 horse motor of the same period. I also made a start rod and a light. I can't afford a real retirement light. This model uses the 14in. bed and has a fence but I am missing the lever and the rear piece. Please e-mail if you have something that could help.
