Purchased from the estate of a local Gunsmith he was the second owner, the lathe has never seen commercial service and shows no signs of wear other than paint scratches . This lathe was originally sold by Hammond Machinery & supplies in San Diego,California in 1966/67 as shown on the dealer tag. During cleanup and hookup I found behind the motor the Logan factory test card dated 11/14/66. This lathe just happens to be the same model lathe I started to learn the trade on in 1960.
