This was purchased from a gentleman who had been using it for some years in a hobby shop. The PO to the PO had painted it John Deere green and yellow.
The saw is driven by a 2HP 3 PH Ge Motor with a July 4 1914 patent date. If original to the machine the saw is no older than this. Has babbit bearing on lower wheel and bronze sleeve on upper. Includes Automatic Saw Guide and Machine Company upper and lower blade guides. The blade/wheel guard will be replaced and machine stripped and repainted prior to being put back in service in another hobby shop.
