I purchased this a few months ago from a futon manufacturer who had acquired it as part of the liquidation of an old-time furniture manufacturer some years earlier. He had not used it. It came with a vetical boring machine that was advertised on CraigsList as a drill press, and that is what I went to see. I missed the saw ad, but that is what I fell for. It was disassembled for transport, and it is still in pieces, awaiting my soothing ministrations. This saw is found elsewhere on this web site, and it is reported to be a bull of a machine. With a 16" blade and a 3-phase 5 HP motor, I can imagine that I will be able to make serious cuts. I apologize for uploading pictures of a disassembled machine, but it was on my list to do, and now I don't have to put if off any longer! More later, when it is back together and functioning.

The roller bearings seen here glide on the square-section steel guides along the sides of the arm. I got lucky and found all 8 of them, though they were scattered all around the PO's shop.
