This is an Eicor AC motor, Off from a late 1940's Delta 6" Short bed jointer. It is made in Chicago Illinois perhaps in the 1940's or earlier. I cannot locate a similar kind of manufacturer listed in the site. Not even online, all I get is a page of ads from Popular Mechanic Magazine. Perhaps they didn't make it big at that time or run in just a short period of time. Motor has been completely restored, stripped off the old paint, cleaned and lubricated, runs as new now.
It is not Ball bearing but runs smooth and powerful enough to handle the job.
Let's just refer to the photos and maybe somebody out here has an identical.
This entry has been edited with the help of Mr. Jeff Joslin a Woodworking Historian for Vintage machinery.org. He was able to locate a little bit of information but big enough to make this manufacturer known again and already included this Manufacturer Information to this site.
Thank you Mr. Joslin for extending your support and I do appreciated it.
