Got this at an estate sale that I stopped at on a whim. Table and fence were covered in rust but the overall condition looked good, with what looked to be the original motor. Turned it on but it didn't run. I wasn't looking for a jointer but it just looked cool (and super heavy for its size). I figured I can take a chance for $15, and probably it was just frozen by rust. Only later when I looked up the manufacturer on this site did I realize just how old it is! It cleaned up really nicely with 95% of japan still there, and the knives are in great condition.
