THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.
I purch'd this bench grinder and the "Clarke" stand that it sits on, on 7.31.12 for $75.00. Runs like a champ, heavier than it looks, used but not abused. The previous owner, now deceased, had used it in his automotive repair shop behind his home in the Buffalo area. No eye shields or other accessories available, just what you see. I've cleaned it up a bit, removed some paint from the badges and now you see it here, I have some more paint to remove and I'll record the motor serial # here along with some more accurate dimensions of what wheel this can take. This will go right to work, skipping the restoration qeue. I will however take the grinder off of the stand to see how the tool rests are adjusted from underneath, the left is frozen in place and the right is loose and won't stay in position. I'm glad to at least have them, along w/the end bells which are so often missing from many grinders. I'll repost a photo of that adjustment from underneath once I get into this.
