Comments:
I purchased this in 2012 because it looked interesting and I needed a new project. I don't think it was used much, probably because it was powered by an old 1/6 HP GE motor. After cleaning I discovered a cracked trunnion (a WT weakness) and was very lucky to find a replacement. I cleaned everything, replaced all four wheel bearings, and painted it with Hammered Blue that was very close to the original color. I build the cabinet from MDF and it is modeled after the cabinets in the 1939 Walker Turner catalog. This was not my wisest purchase since it is not as rugged as expected. I will leave a 1/4" or 1/8" blade in it and I do miss not having a miter slot in the table. I found it interesting that the blades guides can be installed to rotate the blades 45 degrees for cross-cutting extra long stock
