This press is in what was the maintenence shop of the L.W. Packard Woolen Mill [1840-2002]in Ashland, NH. I do work and maintenence on the buildings and a couple hydroelectric dams. I don't have much metal working experience. I really enjoy it when I get to use the old equipment. This press is some different from the other modern presses I've used. Impressive. I got to use it alot when we were rebuilding an old turbine and wicker gatesthat had been sitting partially submerged for years. Some of the pins I was pressing out took 35-40 tons. I'll get some better pictures.
