A friend had secured this 270 from an auction at the University of Texas and it sat dormant for a year and a half, before I acquired it.

Production date of March 1941 (serial # 50464) and shipped to Dallas Machinery, then stayed at the University of Texas the whole time. It was missing the t-bar clamp on the fence and the knob on the elevating hand wheel. I reworked the electricals with new size 1 starter and push button station. I replaced the motor bearings and the thrust bearings for the lifting gears. It came with one filler strip, type-J fence, but no miter gauge.
