I'm glad Tim Kuist posted one of these on here, or I never would have identified it. [It doesn't have the piece with the name under the bonnet]
My Step Dad bought this at an auction about 15 years ago. He thought it needed new babbit. We had a good planer, and plenty of other projects, so we put it out back with a tarp over it and kind of forgot about it. A friend that knew about it thought it would be good for trueing up cabin logs.[He had a rickety old Lane O mill that wasn't very accurate.] When I found this site, I got refired up about the old equipment. I had to cut some trees to get at it. The tarp had deteriated long ago. I was surprized at how well it had survived. It looks better than in the photos. Everything moves. I'll get it out and cleaned up for some better pictures.
