My newly acquired Delta Rockwell Heavy Duty Shaper 43-340 with Delta's first fully adjustable entry level 1/6HP 3 roller stock feeder. I bought this off of a local cabinet shop auction. I knew the ccabinetmaker real well, unfortunately he past away in June of 2011. He had sold me my Delta 10" Unisaw with cast iron base and Delta 6" Deluxe long bed jointer with cast iron enclosed stand from the 1950's both are equiped with the optional A-B manual motor starter. I recently found the exact same starter (609awa) on eBay that I purchased to mount on this shaper as well. This shaper was converted and outfitted with a Delta Milwaukee 3HP 3ph NEMA 66 frame motor and an A-B reversing drum switch as a main start control. I replaced the motor with a new 3HP 1ph Leeson motor and a new motor pulley and mounted the A-B 609awa manual starter. I knew there was a reason why I didn't sell the mobilebase I bought for my Unisaw 20 years ago, it came in handy for this shaper, considering that the casting is the same.

Homemade fence studs and original fence assembly. However I think this unit might have had the newer fence with dust hood as an option because there is a second set of holes in the table that are taped as well.
