Actually purchased this saw because the ad on Craigslist mentioned it included a 3/4 HP sealed housing motor. You just can't pass up a good condition 3/4 horse for $15.00.
Presently I have the top soaking in rust remover, but the rest of the saw, blade guard and accessories are all in very nice condition.
The 1937 Sears Roebuck & Co. Catalog is the first publication that I have found this model and the price is listed at $11.50 plus postage.
Other than having a tilt table, the saw would be great for a small hobbie shop and is built so well it will outlast several of the current small table saws offered today. Update 07/13/12..cleaned and painted.
