I have a perfectly working craftsman contractor saw, a jet contractor saw and found a Rigid mobile saw in the middle of the road... I needed another table saw like I need another hole in the head. But I saw the ad in Craigslist and couldn't resist. I waited until the weekend to call thinking maybe someone would grab it at the 450 the gentleman had it listed for. No such luck. I went out to look at it and it was rough, missing the door, the fence was missing but the rail was there, however someone in its past had decided it was too long and torched it shorter. Sometime it had also been tipped onto the motor end since the cage was bent and the fan was mangled to un-useability status, but it was a single phase, 2 HP motor. It finally jumped into the truck for 250. Less than a week later the mobile base came up on craigslist. I really couldn't tell if it was meant to be or if I was horning in on someone else's serendipity.. Either way this is my keeper saw. I am going to use the trolly from an Accusquare fence system and the left over rail to build a good solid fence system, finish out the table extension and build a motor cover. I didn't repaint the cabinet because later on I want to cover in the bottom of the cabinet and cut in a 6" inch dust collector outlet into the cabinet and fill in the 4" at the bottom.

Tools in preparation for getting it home. At 500lbs I have to remove all I can to get it in the truck.
