I found this on the curb one night before trash day during the mid 1980's. It sat around my place for almost 20 years before i found a motor for it and got it running and did a parcial restore then. I've decided to use this one as a parts source for myself and anyone else who might need parts. The blue saw was probably made between
1940-1943.
Update...while looking for parts for the first saw i found a complete saw (gray one)in better shape than the first one. I bought that one and have restored it. This saw (gray one) was probably made 1944-1946. The older saws like the blue one didn't have the little rubber hex wrench holder opening on the top of the arm casting and 1944 was the first year they did. Also the older saws tended to be painted blue during the war and later saws tended to be painted gray. I'm dating it to about 1946. Its sitting on a much later dated mid 1980's Craftsman stand which fits. I'll post pictures as i can.
