Bought this off of Craigslist. It came with a Craftsman 3450 rpm,3/4hp motor that has a date of 1953 on it. They had the jointer and a craftmaster shaper mounted on a homemade frame. The motor would switch from one machine to another. Not really a good setup. I rebuilt the jointer and made the stand out of MDF and hardwood. I tried to copy the look of an old Walker-Turner stand from pictures I found on this website....Thanks. This machine works awesome and runs quiet and smooth. Its very accurate and leaves no ladder marks.
