Aquired this machine at auction in the Topeka Kansas area. It was complete, plug-n-play, originally running a Howell 2hp, 3ph 1800 rpm motor, with smooth babbitt bearings and an oiler system. I brought it home and changed the motor to a 2 hp 1 ph motor for use in my shop. We couldn't find any paperwork, but it was originally sold by the A.J. Kirkwood Company of Chicago Illinois. This unit had the HB Smith Co, Smithville NJ logo on both the front and back of the base casting.
