Bought at auction for $120 and only 5 miles from home. Belonged to a retired co-worker, so I knew that he had it in running condition at one time. Has set in an unheated garage for many years, and in the later years was no longer used. It will need new bearings, tires and a thorough overhaul. Sometime over the years it had been repainted and that was flaking off, so a paint job is needed.
The saw came complete with a 3/4 horse motor that appears to work. Once I put it under a load I'll have a better idea if it's a keeper but I have high hopes. The gearbox appears in great shape. A good cleaning and new oil should be all it takes.
Update. The saw has been completely restored. New paint, bearings, belt and tires. I tried using the motor that was with it when I bought it, but it was a little underpowered. I installed a new 3 horse 220 volt motor from Grizzly along with a magnetic switch for safety. Until I can find an original belt guard I will be using the plywood guard I made up. It was just not safe to leave the belt exposed. The addition of a Kreg fence completed the rebuild, unless I upgrade the guides. All in all, it was a nice project to rebuild and a great saw to use.

16" Walker Turner Wood/Metal Bandsaw before restoration. I removed the table to transport. Didn't want to crack the trunions.
