Was purchased for $50 in need of refurbishing. The machine was completely torn down and rebuilt with new motor and arm bearings. The old paint was taken to metal, primed and 2 coats gloss Rust-O-leam paint applied. New knobs, hardware, a Mr Sawdust table and new switch & wire and it is back making sawdust. Recalibrated everything and the only hick-up is that the motor needs a spin to start in the proper direction. Is this the capacitor? The history is vague and typical, the man was intending to fix it up but didn't get around to it. But now it's been given to my first son and on its was to California to live in the sunshine.
