I purchased this scrollie from OWWM memeber, Mike Ellington of St. Louis, MO. This was a project and gift to my father-in-law from me for my wedding. I stripped, primed and painted the stand. I stripped primed and painted the plunger assembly and the edge of the table. I brushed, polished and buffed the belt cover. Lastly, I cleaned the table with 220, 300, & 400 grit sandpaper using WD-40 as a lube. Degreased the table and used Topcote® to protect the table. Lastly, I wire brushed the remainder to clean her up. Added SAE 30 non-detergent oil in sump, polished lamp and added a switch on the motor. I showed my father-in-law how to tune her and let him make the first saw dust.
