These photographs are courtesy of Hans Raffelt, who kindly gave permission to reproduce them here. The pictures are of the former locks along the Cornwall Canal in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. The canal was superseded by the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1959.

We have no information on the size of the motor, its age, or its purpose here.
