From an undated 94 page hard back W.W. Carey catalogue. 81 pages of pulleys, bearings, clutches, and 11 of wood working machinery. Includes illustrations of jointers, shapers, saw benches, lathes, band saws, and excelsior machines. Also states that they carry shuttle machinery, upright and horizontal boring machines, billiard and ten pin lathes, mule pulley stands, belt tighteners, shafting, and couplings.

Excelsior machine (manufactures fine hair-like wood shavings used for packing barrels, etc.). It appears that a bolt or slab of wood is automatically fed toward a reciprocating serrated blade.
